CEO & Co-Founder League of Extraordinary women
FOUNDEr OF CUPCAKE CENTRAL
At 8 years old, my parents asked me, "What do you want to do when you grow up?", I instinctively replied "I want to change the world".
I started my work life as an IT Management Consultant - where I felt my soul was slowly getting sucked out of me. Baking cupcakes was the only thing that kept me feeling alive. And so the Universe decided to give me that fateful push and I lost my job during the GFC. In 2010, Cupcake Central hatched! My dream had come true and became the catalyst to co-founding League of Extraordinary Women as the entrepreneurial journey was isolating and tough.
My mission in life is still to change the world and I believe I was born to connect as many extraordinary women as possible, all over the world, so that we can we never have to feel lonely following our dreams. #hatchthatdream
MARKETING & EVENTS MANAGER
Prior to joining the League, Laura quickly climbed the corporate ladder, holding management positions in ecommerce with brands including MYER and L’OREAL. She draws inspiration through making connections with like-minded individuals and looks to start her own business in the near future.
She hit a turning point when she realised she needed to be a part of something bigger. A business with a purpose. An organisation like the League of Extraordinary Women. The rest is history!
In her spare time, you’ll find Laura spending time with her two dogs, fuelling her shoe addiction or enjoying a long lunch with family and friends.
Serial plant killer. Flats enthusiast. Chai lover. Creator of Cash. Founder of PlayBook. Mother of two. Passionate about connecting like-minded people and also supporting women to understand and love their money. A big fan of podcasts, conferences, workshops and reading something that will inspire me, in life or work. Working on cutting out sugar and exercising again (it seems like a legit reason to live in activewear). Appreciator of wild blooms, beautiful design, natural skincare and brunch. Pharrell’s “Happy” makes me happy. My only regret in life? That I didn’t create Pinterest. Always dreaming of a beach holiday with my little family (and being a better plant-mum).

Amy started Meraki Management in 2015, using her varied experiences in volunteer management, bartending, and events coordination to offer convenient and skilled event, marketing and entertainment management to venues and individuals across Tasmania. She hopes to use the platform to not only help performers to thrive, but to build an honest, excited, and diverse music community that encourages new people to get involved on all sides of the spectrum - from performers through to audience members.
When she's not creating beautiful events and listening to great music, Amy loves spending time with her 3 (yes 3!) cats, tending to her rapidly growing collection of house plants, and building her gang of supportive humans that help her keep her head above water!
It was 2 years ago at a kitchen table in Tasmania that Bronwyn first began experimenting with beeswax wraps. Who would have thought this would be the birthplace of an international lifestyle brand blending style with sustainability. Bronwyn developed Sustomi’s bright colours and fun, contemporary styles to show customers sustainable doesn’t have to be bland, luring tens of thousands of customers to replace single-use food storage with re-usable alternatives. Bronwyn is a big believer in vibrance and colour in her own life too, combining her business passions with a healthy lifestyle and seizing every opportunity aligned with her vision. Gathered together, her personal and professional visions centre around making the biggest positive impact she can - all in style of course.

Passionate about people, our planet and making a difference.
I’m committed to making a difference in the working world about how companies look at engaging workers, the hours, the locations and all those other crazy paradigms we have around the workplace. We should all be loving what we do! After 5 years of working in a very male dominated industry I am loving connecting with women through my Ambassador role with The League…. Although not quite as much as I love the ocean;) hence why I live at the stunning Gold Coast. I have also been known to have a weakness for gluten sugar dairy free desserts disguised as health food.

Often described as ‘organised,’ it is no surprise that Emma’s desk has been referred to as a Kikki.K haven. Emma started out her career in the advertising industry and whilst she loved the core purpose of her role in advertising - solving business problems with creative solutions - the increasing number of client creative directors, red tape, internal politics and endless late nights quickly sucked the love out of her career.
In 2018 Emma decided to call it quits, salvage what was left of her passion for advertising, and throw all the skills she had learnt into her side hustle Vee Underwear. She hopes that one day Vee Underwear will not only provide products that support female health, but to also create a brand platform that takes the ‘boo’ out of taboo topics such as vaginal health.
When Emma's not writing lists (and rewriting them because her handwriting got lazy towards the end) or in the Post It-Note section of Officeworks, you’ll find her deep in an Instagram scroll, researching her next gut health diet or spending time with her favourite people. Contact Emma via LinkedIn or Instagram.

Often found wearing loud prints and bright colours, Caterina is a sustainability enthusiast.
Caterina is passionate about empowering young people, especially young women between the ages of 14 and 22, to make a difference to the world through entrepreneurship and social enterprise.
Her 'free' time is split evenly between knitting, boxing, baking and dancing to Afrobeats. She loves connecting with like-minded people to motivate them as much as they motivate her to inspire innovation and foster growth.

Big heart. Extraordinary vision. Boundless energy.
Motivating people is her thing and when she's not looking after her two gorgeous kids, growing businesses and changing the world (basically, being a real-life superwoman!) she also mentors people to reach a potential they've never thought possible.
After a life-changing trip to Cambodia a few years ago, she saw the potential in the young people there. She thought, raising donations is one thing - but how can we change their lives like they have mine? So she got a team of successful entrepreneurs and together they launched the dare to dream entrepreneurial workshop series to over 100 disadvantaged youths at Sunrise Cambodia. The results were profound as these students that have been through tough childhoods felt for the first time - they were allowed to dream the impossible. A few of the students even started their own businesses!
